In order for our trailer to be safe for everyone involved in the filming process, we need to consider the risks involved and what we can do to prevent them.
One hazard is that for our underwater scenes, we will be using a swimming pool and it will involve people having to go underwater in order to film. As this will require holding your breath for periods of time, this may alter people's breathing patterns and therefore could lead to people becoming quite breathless. However, we are reducing this risk by taking regular breaks when filming underwater scenes so people aren't holding their breath regularly in short periods.
Another hazard is that for some of the scenes, we are filming with a tripod. This means there is a risk of the actors tripping over the tripod whilst shooting. In order to prevent this, we will be warning and reminding the actors constantly to take extra care while walking near the tripod.
In our trailer, we are looking to have some shots which involves a bonfire. We need to avoid anyone getting burnt or smoke in their eyes so to do this, we will ensure no one gets too close to the fire.
For the woods scenes, there will be lots of sticks and tree trunks that could easily be tripped over so again, we will make sure everyone is careful when walking around so no one falls over.
